Carts & Cocktails is a progressive party as unique as Laumeier itself, combining golf carts,fine food

and drink, a gorgeous natural setting, and great art. This year’s event will reflect the themes and

images of artworks by Juan William Chavez featured in Laumeier’s 2012 Kranzberg Exhibition—bees,

honey and honeycombs, hives and community, flowers and abundance. Guests will buzz around the

park in golf carts, visiting multiple lush locations to sip cocktails like nectar and enjoy honeyed treats in

the midst of our collection.

  • Casual attire - Outdoor locations, please dress for the weather.
  • Shoes suitable for walking on grass are recommended.


The evening will include: entertainment; a silent auction featuring experiences, artwork by emerging

artists, fashion and jewelry; and a culminating gathering on the Museum Lawn, with a hive of food

trucks offering a selection of sweet and savory fare.
