Education programs for all ages are offered as multi-day classes or one-day workshops for youth, teens, adults and families. Art Classes and Workshops provide participants with a focused experience within a particular medium, process or concept. Participants work at their own level and pace with guided instruction for skill improvement.

Art Classes and Workshops are taught by local, experienced Artist-Instructors and are designed to encourage artistic development and self-expression. Small class sizes provide participants with individual attention; projects are designed to allow participants the freedom to explore their own potential and creativity.

Laumeier’s education programs span many media, including clay, drawing, painting, printmaking, sculpture, textiles and nature. Materials are always provided!

Work as a team to produce unique works of art in a collaborative art-making experience. Multi-generational workshops are a wonderful way for families to spend quality and creative time together! Children—along with a parent, grandparent or caregiver—explore new artistic media, develop a meaningful bond and create memories to last a lifetime. Registration fee includes one adult with one child; children must be accompanied by an adult.

Bring the kids to Laumeier for age-appropriate classes and workshops that provide a quality introduction to new media, processes and concepts while encouraging artistic development. Laumeier also offers one-week Summer Art Camps for ages 4 to 15 each summer.

Both beginner and practiced artists are invited to enroll in classes and workshops for teens and adults. Programs are taught by local, experienced Artist-Instructors; small class sizes provide participants with individual attention. Laumeier also offers seasonal Conversation Series events for adults looking for a less "hands-on" art experience.

Art Camp session changes will be accepted up to three weeks before the session begins, less a $15 processing fee. No refunds or credits will be issued after that time.

Laumeier does not arrange make-up sessions for programs missed by students. In the event that Laumeier must cancel a program due to low enrollment, families will be notified in advance and a full refund will be made. In the event that Laumeier must cancel a program due to unforeseen circumstances (including inclement weather), families will be notified and an alternate program date will be offered.
