Dog Days of Summer exhibition

Dog Days of Summer presents artists whose works explore the complex relationship between humans and the domesticated animals we love. The show features a new installation on Laumeier’s Nature Trail designed by artist Tea Mäkipää specifically for dogs.

Museum hours are: Tuesday-Friday 10:00 AM-5:00 PM and Saturday-Sunday 12:00 PM-5:00 PM [free]

Yappy Hour!, 5–8 PM

The third edition of Yappy Hour! will feature music by the Bedlam Brothers. In addition to several vendors, hot dog cart fare and specialty cocktails, we’ll also host a dog-human look-a-like contest. Cindy Panian with Crabcakes Creative Catering will be offering "Cooking for your Dog" demonstrations as well. Docent-led Tours for Dogs and their Humans, 9 AM & 10 AM

Enjoy a docent-led walking tour of the collection for dogs and their humans. A one-hour outdoor tour will depart from the Museum Shop at 9:00 AM. An indoor tour of the Dog Days of Summer exhibition will follow at 10:00 AM with dog sitters available. [free]
