CONVERSATION SERIES

Laumeier’s Conversation Series offers free, informal learning opportunities for adult audiences through lectures and discussions about art and nature with staff members, visiting artists and community leaders. Coffee and cocktail events encourage participants to ask questions in a relaxed atmosphere. Refreshments are always provided!


Cocktails + Conversation WITH david hutson: Memory & Desire

a personal exploration of neon art, past and present

Neon artist and sign historian David Hutson will discuss his large scale outdoor neon work along with his extensive collection of vintage neon signs installed in the Aronson Fine Arts Center. Hutson’s exhibit is the 15th iteration of the Kranzberg Exhibition Series, a longstanding annual program that supports the development of exhibitions and large-scale sculptural commissions for regional artists.
