K-12 Outreach Programs
Outreach Programs form partnerships with schools to provide classroom visits, curriculum development, and aid in the establishment of artist-in-residence activities.
Classroom visits are conducted by a museum educator using a slide or PowerPoint presentation. Materials designed for educators to use before and after a classroom visit contain information about selected artists for writing activities, art projects and discussion. All materials support the Missouri Grade-Level Expectations.
The cost of each program is $75.
All programs must be reserved a minimum of three weeks in advance. Additional mileage costs will be charged if school distance is more than 30 miles roundtrip from the Museum.
