George Greenamyer (American, born 1939)

George Greenamyer was born in Cleveland in 1939. He earned a B.F.A. from the Philadelphia College of Art in 1963 and a M.F.A. from the University of Kansas in 1969. For over thirty years, Greenamyer taught at the Massachusetts College of Art. Greenamyer has received grants from Massachusetts Arts and Humanities Foundation in 1977 and the Louis Comfort Tiffany Foundation in 1977. His works are represented in collections including: the deCordova Museum and Sculpture Park, Lincoln, Massachusetts; the Art Complex Museum, Duxbury, Massachusetts; and Boston University.
