Join artists Juan William Chávez & Kiersten Torrez for the launch of the Wak’a Garden zine. During a brief discussion, they’ll speak to the philosophy behind Wak’a Garden and share their insights into native bees and plants that informed this project. A Q&A will conclude the discussion followed by Torrez leading attendees in a process for mindfully planting a native plant in a take-home grow bag (plants + bags available on a first come, first served basis).. We will meet at Wak’a Garden in the South Lawn.
