ART SQUAD / FULL-DAY / AGES 11-15*
Young artists learn about contemporary and historical artists, interact with special guests, explore the woodland creek and trails, create unique works of art, and build lasting friendships.
Weekly sessions are centered around specific materials and techniques that encourage hands-on exploration and support each artist’s individual interests, from anime to wearables, to product design, to studio art. Each session features a ceramic project designed to connect with the theme.
In addition to structured projects, Art Squad includes dedicated TAB (Teaching for Artistic Behavior) time, giving artists the freedom to pursue their own interests and develop their artistic voice within a supportive studio environment.
The program is based indoors in the Kranzberg Education Lab, with additional activities taking place throughout the Park. Be sure to carefully read the updated Family Handbook linked in your registration confirmation email – it includes important details about check-in and -out procedures, a packing list, behavior expectations, and more.
