Trees and the Sculptural Landscape
Spend the morning surrounded the Park’s beautiful fall foliage for an autumn hike! Learn about several types of tree species that shade Laumeier’s beautiful trails with local arborist, Michael Garrett. Discuss popular tree identification methods, such as examining bark and leaves, along with others in the Park.

Mud + Merlot: Ceramic Wreaths
A bottle of wine and some clay make for a great night out at Laumeier Sculpture Park! Learn slab construction and explore surface textures and detailing to create a festive ceramic wreath to display during the holidays! Bring your own wine; light snacks are provided. Pick up your finished piece at Laumeier the following week.

Winter Festivities at Laumeier Sculpture Park
Celebrate the arrival of winter at the Park! Create bird seed ornaments using fun shapes and molds while learning about the importance of feeding your backyard birds during the winter. Get your legs moving by strolling through the Park on a winter themed tour before warming up with some roasted chestnuts!
