Share a potter’s wheel with your family member and learn basic wheel throwing techniques working side by side! Learn how to add hand-built embellishments and collaborate on color to make your project truly special.

Mud + Merlot: Affirmations in Clay
Clay holds more than form – it holds intentions! Learn how to write and design a set of ceramic affirmation “cards” that can serve as grounding reminders or gifts to yourself and others. Shape, stamp, decorate with words and images that will bring comfort, strength, clarity and joy to your everyday life. Bring your own wine (or other beverage of your choice); light snacks provided. Pick up your finished piece the following week.

CLAY CLASSES /
Wheel Throwing
Learn the basics of using the potter’s wheel to make functional clay pieces and non-functional sculptures. Study the fundamental techniques of wedging, centering and raising cylindrical forms such as bowls, cups and vases. Includes an introduction to glazing. Wear old clothes, bring a towel and plan on getting messy!
