Visitors will also have the chance to meet Laumeier Community Artist in Residence Simiya Sudduth on August 8. Simiya will lead an upcycled herbal plant pocket activity. Construct your own living herbal plant pocket using upcycled materials. Dirt and herbs such as mint, thyme, oregano and sage will continue to grow from the hand-made plant pocket, which can be hung indoors or outdoors. This activity teaches about environmental stewardship and the healing benefits that plants provide.

Face coverings are required in all activity and presentation areas.
