SUMMER CAMP T-SHIRT DESIGN CONTEST

In honor of Laumeier's 50th Anniversary, we're inviting young artists ages 3.5-18 to design a graphic for the 2026 Summer Camp t-shirt.

Contest Prompt: Create a simple black-and-white line drawing that celebrates 50 years of art, nature, and Summer Camp at Laumeier Sculpture Park!

Details + Timeline:

  • Complete this form and upload an image file of your design by March 1, 2026

  • Designs may be modified by our team to fit the needs of Laumeier and the t-shirt format

  • Winning artist(s) will be notified by March 13, 2026

  • Winning artist(s) will be awarded a free t-shirt and a $50 gift certificate to summer programs

  • Winning design(s) will be announced to the public by April of 2026

  • T-shirts are exclusively available for purchase online during summer camp registration ·

  • Contact education@laumeier.org to add a t-shirt order to your existing registration

  • T-shirts are printed locally in small batches

  • 100% of profits support education programs at Laumeier Sculpture Park

EDUCATION SCHOLARSHIP FUND

Scholarships for Summer Art Programs are available through the Laumeier Sculpture Park Education Scholarship Fund. Assistance is awarded on a first-come, first-served basis and cannot be guaranteed for all applicants. The application process is part of the online registration form. You do not need to supply any additional documents or information. THE SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION PERIOD IS OPEN. For more information, please email our education team at education@laumeier.org.

Scholarships are granted on the basis of financial need and are awarded on a sliding scale. Assistance is granted regardless of race, gender, religion, disability, sexual orientation, or nationality.

MEMBERSHIP DISCOUNT

Laumeier Members at the I ♥ Learning & Creating and I ♥ Laumeier levels receive 10% off Summer Art Programs registrations, a waived Summer Camp registration fee ($25 value), early access to Summer Camp registration, plus additional member-only benefits throughout the year.

Please note: Membership purchases must be made separately from camp registrations.

If you have renewed or purchased your Membership within the past 30 days, your 10% discount may not automatically populate within the online registration form. For those affected, here are two ways to receive your Membership discount:

Email education@laumeier.org to get a personal coupon code. Use this code in the camp registration form to apply your 10% discount.

Make your camp purchase at full price and then email education@laumeier.org to receive your 10% discount in the form of a refund.

Please note: Membership processing may take 2-3 business days, and camp sessions can fill quickly. If your membership information does not appear on the registration page, we encourage you to complete your camp registration and purchase your I ♥ Learning & Creating and/or I ♥ Laumeier membership separately, then contact our staff about a refund of your registration fee and 10% discount.
